Show
Overview

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is the tech world’s main event. For over 50 years, it’s been the go-to spot for debuting cutting-edge gadgets and rubbing elbows with top execs and visionary minds. Each year, tech giants and startups alike roll out their newest innovations, all trying to outshine each other and grab the spotlight. This year was no exception—thousands of visitors trekked miles through the halls to get a firsthand look at the future of tech.

Concept &
Design

When it comes to CES, making a splash is a must, and Kodak wasn’t about to fade into the background. With a massive 110×60 space, they needed a booth that screamed “innovation” and drew in both consumers and industry pros alike. The key? Interactivity. Lots and lots of interactivity.

Challenge

Kodak wanted to highlight their iconic instant print products while giving visitors plenty of hands-on experiences. With a legacy of innovation to uphold, their trade show exhibit had to be a showstopper—a hub of activity that would turn heads on the CES floor.

Solution

Enter Absolute Exhibits. They cooked up a sleek, modern, interactive trade show exhibit that was impossible to miss. Picture this: double-sided hanging signs featuring two massive 10’x10′ SEG fabric light boxes, boldly announcing Kodak from every angle. Add to that a 20-foot back wall and exterior walls echoing the same bold branding, and you’ve got a visual knockout.
But it wasn’t just about looks. The exhibit had edge-lit raised flooring, slat wall kiosk stations wrapped in cool brick wallpaper, and CNC-cut backlit logos to showcase Kodak’s products on screen. And for that crucial hands-on experience? Eight product demo tables with recessed lighting let visitors pick up and play with Kodak’s instant print cameras.
The centerpiece was a stunning 3D backlit Kodak logo and a glowing reception counter. Plus, a lounge with a full bar (yes, a bar!) and seating made sure people stuck around. For more serious talks, a semi-private meeting room was tucked in, offering space for deeper convos.

Results

Kodak’s booth wasn’t just a hit—it was the hit. The press named it one of the must-see exhibits at CES, and it was buzzing with visitors non-stop. USA Today even gave it a nod!
“We wanted a space that invited people in, got them to engage with the product, and made them feel at home,” said C+A (parent company), Senior Director of Trade Shows and Events. “Absolute Exhibits nailed it, and we couldn’t be happier.”
